  1. I didn’t think it was an info dump, but then when I’m at someone’s funeral, I want to help the mourners remember how they met and knew the deceased, so the infodump to me is part of the mourning process, helping them remember the good times.

  4. That’s the problem with superhero funerals, as much as with the so-called “normal” variety: making up stuff to comfort the bereaved, especially if you didn’t really know/like the deceased.
    When you do know and like him and have to come up with all these pseudomemories…it can’t be easy.
