  1. It is amazing how expensive prescription prenatal vitamins are. I would have appreciated such helpful advice when I was pregnant. Although, I doubt children’s vitamins have enough folic acid. Perhaps instead of Kryptonite his/her weakness will be iron. 🙂

  2. @Vergie: That would be a problem, I guess. Human blood contains iron too.
(S)he might have the most awesome powers but never get’s to see them because (s)he is her/his own Kryptonite.

  3. Vergie, you could always supplement the children’s vitamins with prescription folic acid (a cheap generic) or five or six of the OTC folic acid tablets, if there isn’t enough folic acid in the chewables.

  4. Please tell me that Doc Karma isn’t playing Magic the Gathering!

It’s funny that he uses magic for something as pedestrian as holding his phone to his head. It reminds me a scene from that old “Wizards and Warriors” TV show in the early eighties. (If you saw it, you’ll surely remember Prince Eric Greystone and Prince Dirk Blackpool.) In one episode the very old and decrepit white wizard commented that he needs to use magic just to get out of bed in the morning.

  5. Christopher, hence the smilie. I was playing on the two different forms of iron. Perhaps I should have gone with the winking smilie instead. 😉

  6. Re: the last panel…all I can say, Abby is: word.

  7. He’s to busy playing solitaire to handle a simple phone.

  8. Looks to me like he’s doing a tarot card reading. Probably a straight divination since that’s the only time you’d have that many cards in a row

  9. owenkuhn: He could be playing solitaire with tarot cards. Only problem is that if you lose too many times in a row, someone dies…
