I’m the guy that which does Love and Capes.
Good man, Darkblade
Poor Abby. From the start, she didn’t realize that just by being in a relationship with a superhero you’ll unavoidably have your own nemesis who you just can’t get away from.
I’m totally with her. If someone asks the right question, I tell the right answer, but if they don’t, I can dance around the issue all day.
Shouldn’t Abby be happy Amazonia’s moved on?
“Should”, yes. However: Emotions have little to do with logic. Logically, it’s a good thing that Amazonia is now stuck on someone else. Emotionally, however, someone that’s been a thorn in her side for a very long time is now happy, and that’s not good. That’s the kind of thing a sensible person gets over quickly, and Abby’s mostly sensible.
I still have a hard time understanding why Abby would not feel good about this, even after reading Jack Simth’s post.
“I still have a hard time understanding why Abby would not feel good about this”
While Abby and Amazonia have made peace, Abby still doesn’t particularly LIKE her and she is now dating her husband’s best friend. This can only mean more contact with someone she isn’t overly fond of…
